This was a 3D chicken wire assignment from my junior year of high school (2010-2011). I used photoshop to clean up my artwork, and “jazz” it up a slight bit~
Being the Narutard I am, when given a 3D chicken wire assignment, OF COURSE I had to make a ninja weapon! >w> I hot-glued the heck out of it, & students sort of damaged it by swinging it around while pretending to be ninjas, but overall, I’m quite happy with how it turned out. (For safety reasons, I had to hot glue the tip of the kunai. The tip actually managed to draw blood when it scratched me! XD)
I absolutely adored this assignment~ <3
This was another self-portrait assignment from my senior year of high school (2011-2012). I used photoshop to clean up my artwork a bit~
Made in December 2011~
(Apparently my art teachers love making self-portraits. I have way too many artworks of myself in my deviantart gallery… ‘>____>)
So, for this artwork, I referenced off of a photograph. The background is your typical paint, while my actual self is shaded using ebony. If you look carefully, there is a bit of color splash occurring in my jewelry~ *key obsessed*
Artistic Frame Works
Bellwork Assignment: Create a collection of frames. Draw within the frames provided. Thought I’d go for colourful, Asian, and a slight feeling of sophistication~
This was done in August 2011, using fine point sharpie markers~
Asian fan decor
Bellwork Assignment: Decorate the fan provided. With my love of Japan, of course I would make the fan have an Asian/ Japanese flair to it~
This was done in October 2011~
The markers I used in this work was Silver Lead Co.’s water-based ink 100 Markers set.
This was originally done my junior year of high school (2010-2011).
I was learning how to better color using markers.
This was also part of designing an OC for an art assignment.

Of Honor Alone - Made in January 2012~
This was an assignment from my senior year of high school (2011-2012). I used photoshop to clean up my artwork and “jazz” it up a bit~
The background was created with charcoal, while the girl herself was created with ebony. My inspiration came from an image I found on piccsy a long while back: http://i1124.photobucket.com/albums/l574/Mikuyori/Deviations/53053-256583-500-526.jpg
Care to share any interpretations you thought up while looking at this work? I’d love to hear them!

Done in August 2011~
In this assignment, were were to draw ourselves from a small mirror — not actual photographs. It’s a bit more challenging than from drawing from photographs, but in the end, this assignment was a lot of fun!

Version 2 of Society’s Facade done in November 2011~
This was a visual autobiography assignment from my senior year of high school (2011-2012).
For this assignment, we were told to tell a person’s story through an artwork.I chose to do my assignment on a feudal Japanese geisha. During the time of Feudal Japan, from my limited knowledge, geisha were expected to always be beautiful and charming — after all, they are entertainers, actresses of great artistic beauty if you may. But does anyone ever think to look beyond the beauty and pleasant facade of a geisha? Behind all that paint could be a girl just waiting to be seen and loved for who she truly is. This is where my inspiration came from.
Interpret it in whatever other ways you wish to~ I’d love to hear your own interpretations in the comments~!

{Collector of Keys - Quote - Option II - December 2011 }
The first version I made of this looked a bit clustered, so I decided to redo it to something a bit cleaner & simplistic. (That’s my key collection in the background~ *proud*)
